Lutheran High is proud to have a World Qualified Irish Dancer!  Ryan (Lohmeyer)--seen here on KUSI Morning San Diego--started Irish dancing at the age of 6.  Ryan's competitive results are impressive and he will be competing in the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin, Ireland this April.

Way to go, Ryan!

LHSSD's "Kid Friendly" Production of "Fairy Tales"

Our Musical cast was anything but "Grimm!"  On April 8th and 9th the students of LHSSD performed their Spring Musical "Fairy Tales", a Califonia premiere, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oak Park.  No one ever thinks about how a beloved fairy tale character may feel about performing the same story over and over again, but audience members got to see what the characters think and feel at their annual Fairy Tale Convention. When Cinderella expresses her frustration with having to wear the glass slippers the rest of the characters jump on board and change fairy tale roles.  In the end, however, everyone realizes it is better to be themselves than someone else. The Cast and Crew did an amazing job bringing the fairy tale characters to life!
